Strategic Eye, Inc. and its affiliate, Kids-in-sight are US companies committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the individuals who participate in our research studies.

Information We Collect

When we conduct a study in which you would participate, you would be required to submit some Personal Information and basic contact information.  When we interview you about the subject matter, we will retain all information pertaining to that discussion. 

Participation in our research studies is always voluntary.

How We Use Information

Strategic Eye uses information you provide to communicate with you and help facilitate the research we undertake.  We will never share or sell that information for commercial purposes.  We will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us.

Confidentiality of Research Information

Strategic Eye treats participant information as confidential. Clients do not receive participants’ direct identifying information unless:

  • The participant has expressly consented;
  • Disclosure is required by law; or
  • Disclosure is necessary for a specific lawful research purpose.

Our clients and service providers are expected to maintain appropriate confidentiality protections.

Data Security

Strategic Eye uses robust organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal information within our company.  This includes security controls to prevent unauthorized access to our systems.  While we take reasonable steps to secure your personal information, please be aware that no transmission or security system is guaranteed to be 100% secure from intrusion or hacking, and there is always some risk assumed by sharing Personal Information.

Your Rights and Choices

Strategic Eye offers individuals the opportunity to choose (opt out) whether their personal information is (i) to be disclosed to a third party or (ii) to be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individuals.  Individuals are provided with clear, conspicuous, and readily available mechanisms to exercise choice.

Regardless of study, participants may opt out of research participation at any time.

Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers to assist with research recruitment, scheduling, technology platforms, or data management. These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to Strategic Eye and are required to maintain the same privacy, confidentiality, and security protections described in this Privacy Policy.

Legal Disclosure

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or legal interests.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this website with a revised effective date.
